HDH offers the highest level of quality to surgical patients. A wide range of general and specialty procedures are currently available, and the list of procedures offered to the community continues to expand.
Please talk with your primary care provider and the Surgical Department about your needs. Together you can determine the most appropriate plan for your good health and recovery.
Pre-Op Procedure
If you’re scheduled for surgery, a surgery nurse will contact you. They will get your medical history, do a brief physical assessment and help you schedule any necessary lab work or other exams. In addition, the recovery room nurse will assist with the surgical pre-admission process and will keep in touch following the surgery to make sure your recovery is smooth.
